Join local efforts to build excitement for the largest statewide advocacy event, LGBT Equality and Justice Day on Tuesday April 29, 2008! Leading up to this powerful day communities around the state are working to strategize and train activists in order to strengthen their impact in Albany! From Long Island to Buffalo, trainings and other activities are focused on building support in YOUR community for LGBT equality and justice, so now is your chance to get involved!
Pride Agenda Marriage Ambassadors, GENDA activists, local sponsoring organizations, and dedicated volunteers are teaming up to do outreach and education, both locally and statewide. Everyone is welcome!

Community Forum on GENDA
Come and join other local supporters for a panel discussion on the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (GENDA). Panelists will discuss GENDA, a bill to outlaw discrimination against transgender and gender non-conforming people in New York State. Topics include background on GENDA, how the bill relates to other pressing issues faced by our LGBT and ally communities, and how you can get involved!
