We invite your organization to join us in our efforts to protect students from bias harassment in schools and implement the Dignity for All Students Act.  The Dignity for All Students Act creates legal protections for public school students in New York State from harassment and bullying, including verbal abuse and physical attacks on the basis of actual or perceived race, ethnic group, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression) or sex.

We would like you to join the growing list of supporters of the Dignity for All Students Act by having your organization endorse the following statement:

We believe that the harassment and bullying of youth on the basis of actual or perceived race, ethnic group, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression) or sex is wrong and urge the New York State Legislature to pass the Dignity for All Students Act.  We recognize the right of all New York public school students to learn in a safe, learning-conducive environment free from bias-based harassment.
