Deputy Communications Director
Stephanie Berger is Deputy Communications Director at the Empire State Pride Agenda. Her primary duties include press/media relations, oversight of publications and marketing collateral, developing strategies for various Pride Agenda outreach initiatives including those involving new media, and overseeing OffSprung, the Pride Agenda's program for the next generation of LGBT leaders and allies.
Prior to working at the Pride Agenda, Stephanie worked in the editorial department of several magazines including HOME magazine, Family Circle and PHOENIX magazine. In college she was Editor in Chief of the weekly arts and entertainment publication, the State Press Magazine. She has also been actively involved with suicide prevention, children’s arts and refugee advocacy organizations.
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
