Deputy Communications Director
Stephanie Berger is Deputy Communications Director at the Empire State Pride Agenda. Her primary duties include press/media relations, oversight of publications and marketing collateral, developing strategies for various Pride Agenda outreach initiatives including those involving new media, and overseeing OffSprung, the Pride Agenda's program for the next generation of LGBT leaders and allies.
Prior to joining the Pride Agenda, Stephanie was an Editorial Assistant at HOME magazine, a national home renovation and design publication. Stephanie has interned at magazines including PHOENIX and Family Circle. She was also Editor in Chief of her college’s weekly arts, entertainment and alternative news publication, the State Press Magazine. She has been actively involved with children’s arts and refugee advocacy organizations, and she wrote her honors thesis on the disparity in the quality of primary and secondary education across the nation.
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
