Jason Haas

Jason Haas is a Communications Coordinator at the Empire State Pride Agenda, joining the organization in May 2008. His duties include maintenance of the Pride Agenda’s website, and development and production of web content and online/social media initiatives. Jason also coordinates Offsprung! activities and outreach efforts.

Prior to joining the Pride Agenda, Jason was a Media Fellow at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), a national media advocacy organization. He also served as a volunteer on numerous progressive political campaigns and as a public speaker and advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth.

Jason graduated from Hamilton College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Communication and a minor in Theatre. He completed internships at the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) in 2002 and the New York Times Television in 2003. Jason also spent the summer of 2004 at the Institute for Political Journalism at Georgetown University.
